Peritik Events: Where to Find Us in Northern California

Peritik is a family-run shop selling natural stone jewelry, hand-woven hats, and accessories at fairs, festivals and markets across Northern California.

This page is our schedule of record. The dates we have booked are listed below, with the venue, the hours, and a link to the host event's own page where there is one. If you met us at a booth and want to know where we will be next, you are in the right place.

Peritik started in October 2017, first out of the back of a vehicle, then selling to friends and family, then online. The booth came later: our first pop-up was the Contra Costa County Fair in Antioch, in May 2022, and fairs and markets have been the heart of the business ever since.

There is no walk-in storefront, so a fair or a market is where you can pick a piece up, try it on, and see how the stone actually looks. Most of our dates are in and around Oakland, Alameda, Concord and eastern Contra Costa County, and we go out to San Jose, San Francisco and the North Bay when a date is worth the drive.

Where to find us next

Fairs move and hours change, so the host event's own page is always the final word. New dates go up here as soon as they are booked.

What we bring

The booth is built around two things: the tall wall of natural stone bracelets and the shelves of hand-woven hats. Both travel with us to a date, and both are what people come back for. Between them we lay out necklaces, earrings, rings, chains, dreamcatchers and small home pieces. Most of what we carry is between five and forty-two dollars, and home decor is priced separately.

Each stone carries meanings that people have passed along for generations, and half the fun of the booth is watching one customer explain a stone to another across the table. If you would rather shop from home, a lot of what we bring is on this site: browse the jewelry any time.

Frequently asked

Where will Peritik be next?

The dates we have booked are at the top of this page, with the venue and the hours. New dates go up as soon as they are booked, sometimes a few weeks out and sometimes longer, so the list grows through the season. The fastest way to hear about a new date without checking back is the email signup near the bottom of this page.

What does Peritik bring to a booth?

Hand-woven straw and felt hats, natural stone bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings, chains, dreamcatchers, and small home pieces. Most of what we carry is between five and forty-two dollars. Home decor is priced separately.

Does Peritik have a store I can visit?

There is no walk-in storefront. Peritik sells in person at Northern California fairs, festivals and markets, and online at peritik.com in between, which is why this page exists.

Are the stones natural?

Yes. The jewelry is made with natural stone, so color and pattern vary from piece to piece and no two are quite alike. Stones are sold for how they look and for the meanings traditionally associated with them.

How do I know whether Peritik will be at a particular fair?

This page is the schedule of record. If a date is not on the upcoming list, it is not booked yet. We do not post a fair before it is booked, because sending someone on a wasted trip is worse than telling them nothing. Peritik sells at Northern California fairs, festivals and markets, including the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, Carnaval San Francisco, Oakland Día de los Muertos in Fruitvale, the Sonoma County Fair in Santa Rosa, and the Concord Night Market at Todos Santos Plaza, but a past appearance is never a promise about this year.

Can I buy online if I cannot get to an event?

Yes. A lot of what we bring to the booth is on peritik.com, and it ships. Meeting people in person is the part we like best, and plenty of customers find us at a fair once and then shop online between events. If you are choosing a size, our size guide covers hats, rings and necklaces.

Can Peritik come to our event?

Yes, if the date works. We are always looking for good markets. We bring our own canopy and display, we set up early, and we leave the space clean. Tell us the date, the city, and what kind of event it is through our contact page.
